The possibility to employ malt-roots meal (MRM) in diets for growing ducks was studied. Results showed that the presence of MRM causes a worsening of growth-rate, an improvement of the conversion efficiency at the same age and doesn't seem to influence the slaughtering traits at the same live weight.
