At present, concomitant hysterectomy and repair of pelvic support defects is considered the standard option for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) involving the uterus. The few reports on uro-genital prolapse repair associated with uterus preservation generally present short follow-ups and vague outcome measures. Here, we report the long-term follow-up of our experience in uterus sparing surgery, performed at our tertiary Urogynecological Department.

Abstract
At present, concomitant hysterectomy and repair of pelvic support defects is considered the standard option for pelvic organ prolapse (POP) involving the uterus. The few reports on uro-genital prolapse repair associated with uterus preservation generally present short follow-ups and vague outcome measures. Here, we report the long-term follow-up of our experience in uterus sparing surgery, performed at our tertiary Urogynecological Department.File in questo prodotto:
