This paper aims to contextualise the foundation of a relatively little-known convent near Castelfiorentino that belonged to the congregation of San Giro-lamo during the fifteenth century. Particular attention has been paid to the family of the founders (who emigrated to Florence from Gambassi) and to the dynamics that led them to found and endow the convent.
