Su musi, facce e culandri (e altro): alcune riflessioni sulla/e traduzione/i di Ferdydurke

Artykuł podejmuje problematykę przekładu na język włoski powieści Witolda Gombrowicza “Ferdydurke” [1938] na podstawie czterech istniejących włoskich tłumaczeniach [Miniussi 1961, Verdiani 1991, Verdiani 2019, Salvatori-Mari 2020]. Koncentrując się na neologizmach solecyzmach, słówach kluczowych “pupa” i “gęba” i mówiącyh nazwiskach, porównuje strategie translatorske włoskich tłumaczy z poprzednymi tłumaczeniami na hiszpański [autoprzekład Gombrowicza 1947], francuski [Brone 1958; Sédir 1973], angielski [Mosbacher 1961; Borchardt 2000] oraz kataloński [2003] .

The article tackles the complex topic of translating into Italian Witold Gombrowicz's novel Ferdydurke [1938]. The analisys is conducted on the basis of four existing Italian translations [Miniussi 1961, Verdiani 1991, Verdiani 2019, Salvatori-Mari 2020]. Focusing on the translation of neologisms, solecisms, key words "pupa" and "gęba" and speaking names, it compares the translation strategies of the four Italian translators with Gombrowicz’s Spanish autotranslation [1947], and the translations into French [Brone 1958; Sédir 1973], English [Mosbacher 1961; Borchardt 2000], and Catalan [2003] .
