Nelle quinte del costituzionalismo razionalizzato: Miguel Cuevas y Cuevas e la costituente spagnola del 1931

This article is a biographical-intellectual profile of Miguel Cuevas y Cuevas in which from his university education to the launch of the constitution of the second Spanish republic. Understimated protagonist of the legal science of his time, Cuevas is considered the father of the definition Estado Integral, created to define the territorial model of the 1931 constitution. The aim of the essay is to highlight the relevance of the biographical-intellectual data to understand the mechanisms of circulation and cultural renewal of the Spanish legal context between the two world wars

Il presente contributo vuole esaminare la vicenda biografico intellettuale di Miguel Cuevas y Cuevas dalla sua formazione sino al varo della costituzione della seconda repubblica spagnola. Giurista influente, per quanto poco studiato, Cuevas è considerato il padre della definizione Estado integral, creata per definire il modello territoriale della costituzione del 1931. Scopo del saggio è far emergere l'importanza del dato biografico-intellettuale per comprendere i meccanismi di circolazione e rinnovamento culturale del mondo giuridico spagnolo fra le due guerre mondiali.
