This paper evaluates the possible operation of charging stations with PV generation and storage, intended for installation in urban environments. To do this, vehicle arrivals and charging have been simulated, also including the effects due to photovoltaic generation, storage system capability, and energy market prices. A heuristic EV station control logic was developed, and the variability of meteorological conditions along with different EVs load requests was considered, in order to determine the impact on energy requests and costs. The proposed model is applied to simulate an EV charging station located in Arezzo, Italy, equipped with a photovoltaic generation system and one electrochemical storage, demonstrator of which is under construction.

Abstract
This paper evaluates the possible operation of charging stations with PV generation and storage, intended for installation in urban environments. To do this, vehicle arrivals and charging have been simulated, also including the effects due to photovoltaic generation, storage system capability, and energy market prices. A heuristic EV station control logic was developed, and the variability of meteorological conditions along with different EVs load requests was considered, in order to determine the impact on energy requests and costs. The proposed model is applied to simulate an EV charging station located in Arezzo, Italy, equipped with a photovoltaic generation system and one electrochemical storage, demonstrator of which is under construction.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
