This papaer analyzes documents offering their contribution at the categorization of human rights in the Islamic tradition. In particular, the following documents will be examined: (a) Conclusions and recommendations of Kuwayt Convention (1980), (b) Declaration on Human Rights in Islam of Islamic Council of Europe (1981), (c) Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam (1990) (d) Arab Charter on Human Rights (1994), (e) Arab Charter on Human Rights (2004), (f) Marrakech Declaration (2016). In the conclusion, it will underlined that an obstacle at the development of human rights notion in Islamic is tradition is the absence of the subjective right’s notion.
