This paper offers an up-to-date overview of the digital resources available for the study of Dante’s work and focuses on tools based on various types of semantic modeling and marking. The analysis of falconry lexicon and images in the Commedia represents a perfect case study to show potentialities and limits of such tools both in the field of lexicography and linguistics and in the field of intertextuality and sources study. With regard to the first area of research, a linguistic and etymological contextualization of the falconry lexicon in the poem is followed by considerations on the opportunity to extend the digital resources dedicated to Dante’s’ language in an onomasiological and conceptual perspective. As for the second area of research, this contribution presents the first results of the PRIN 2017 project Hypermedia Dante Network, founded on the standards of the Semantic Web and aimed at mapping the he inter-textual aspects of the poem, as identified and described by ancient and modern commentators.

Abstract
As for the second area of research, this contribution presents the first results of the PRIN 2017 project Hypermedia Dante Network, founded on the standards of the Semantic Web and aimed at mapping the he inter-textual aspects of the poem, as identified and described by ancient and modern commentators.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
