This article discusses the preliminary results of the 2018 and 2019 survey campaigns at Hierapolis in Phrygia (Turkey), conducted within the framework of the Italian Archaeological Mission at Hierapolis (MAIER). Research focused on the northern necropolis at the site, with particular attention on the area between Tombs 163d and 156. The paper reviews the archaeological and epigraphic evidence from Tomb 159c, in order to reconstruct patterns and changes in ownership, use, and movement across three centuries (2nd-4th c. CE).
