Abstract
Two forces of identity, more than others, arise in Homer or in archaic lyrics, in tragedy or in Plato. They consist in the awareness of writing genres, and in the awareness of individual value. If the first one pushes towards tradition, the second one moves in the direction of fracture. This article recalls the decisive function exercised by both of them, explaining the duration over time, the diffusion, and the great depht of the Greek literary production.File in questo prodotto:
