This paper deals with the communities that lived along the banks of the Padule di Fucecchio between the 1st and 2nd centuries A.D., through the study of an inscribed altar found nearby over two centuries ago. The study aims at making a significant contribution to our understanding of the ancient rural territory and the communities that inhabited it, in this part of Etruria.
