In this article we present the first prototype and the preliminary testing of a sensorized footwear with high heel, with particular attention to the seamless integration of extensible pressure sensors in the insole layer of the shoe. We have developed the sensorized shoe prototype as part of the WEARART research project with the aim of extracting gait parameters without altering the characteristics related to the build quality and beauty of the shoe. We preliminary tested the prototype on two healthy subjects, demonstrating the ability to extract basic gait parameters such as walking frequency and number of steps.

Abstract
In this article we present the first prototype and the preliminary testing of a sensorized footwear with high heel, with particular attention to the seamless integration of extensible pressure sensors in the insole layer of the shoe. We have developed the sensorized shoe prototype as part of the WEARART research project with the aim of extracting gait parameters without altering the characteristics related to the build quality and beauty of the shoe. We preliminary tested the prototype on two healthy subjects, demonstrating the ability to extract basic gait parameters such as walking frequency and number of steps.File in questo prodotto:
