The Constitution of Liechtenstein on its centenary. Summary reflections in comparative perspective – Starting from the centennial anniversary of the Constitution of Liechtenstein, approved in 1921, the essay develops a general reflection on the contents of this constitutional text and its historical evolution. The central issues are those of the configuration of this constitutional monarchy and the very relevant role reserved for the Prince in a form of government that is still dualist because of the principle of shared sovereignty made explicit in Article 2 of the Constitution. The conclusions note the atypical character of this constitutional system peculiar to a European micro-state.
