This article deals with Raimondo Cubeddu’s reflection on the effects of time scarcity and growing informational/expectations asymmetries on political decision-making and on the very possibility of emergent spontaneous orders produced by the market, in the sense of Hayek’s catallaxy (“the order brought about the mutual adjustment of many individual economies in a market”). Taking into account the global financial crisis that began in 2007, the decisive point in Cubbedu’s writings on time scarcity and catallaxy is highlighted by focusing on the concepts of “auto-organization” and “phase transition”.

Abstract
This article deals with Raimondo Cubeddu’s reflection on the effects of time scarcity and growing informational/expectations asymmetries on political decision-making and on the very possibility of emergent spontaneous orders produced by the market, in the sense of Hayek’s catallaxy (“the order brought about the mutual adjustment of many individual economies in a market”). Taking into account the global financial crisis that began in 2007, the decisive point in Cubbedu’s writings on time scarcity and catallaxy is highlighted by focusing on the concepts of “auto-organization” and “phase transition”.File in questo prodotto:
