Abstract: In the period that preceded the formation of the Spanish Real Academia, the Accademia della Crusca was asked for information on its statutes, which the Italian academy sent to Spain. In this paper, we study and transcribe the manuscripts of Le leggi dell’Accademia della Crusca riformate nel 1589 and its Spanish version, found in the Archives of the rae.
