The increasingly share of renewable energy into electric power systems is bringing to integrate AC and DC power systems. Additionally, the large penetration of storages has caused an increment in the system flexibility, also in the field of the energy management strategies. Both aspects result particularly meaningful in hybrid AC, DC grids. In this paper, energy management strategies of DC grid resources are presented, paying particular attention to the application of these logics in DC microgrids supporting the main AC grid during failure events. Experimental tests are conducted to validate the proposed strategies taking advantage of real and emulated facilities of ENEA Research Infrastructure.
