This work shows how the acquisition of all modern GPS signals can be reduced to the iteration of a single FFT-based computational unit. In particular, acquisition algorithms for L5, L1C and L2C are compared to show how they can be solved with a series of 40920-point correlation units, leading to the possible hardware implementation of an efficient multi-band acquisition block.

Abstract
This work shows how the acquisition of all modern GPS signals can be reduced to the iteration of a single FFT-based computational unit. In particular, acquisition algorithms for L5, L1C and L2C are compared to show how they can be solved with a series of 40920-point correlation units, leading to the possible hardware implementation of an efficient multi-band acquisition block.File in questo prodotto:
