This chapter aims to present several modelling approaches to analyze energy systems that implement a particular category of fuel cells and electrolyzers, namely reversible Solid Oxide Cells (rSOCs). This technology allows the dual operation mode, hence requires particular care in the analysis of processes, transient operation and energy/power management in the long-term. Therefore, this chapter reviews the principal methodologies adopted to the scope.
