This paper investigates the possibility of governing the distribution of the currents in a 2D metamaterial realized with magnetically coupled-resonant circuits, with the goal of obtaining a uniform magnetic field in the proximity of the structure. The currents are controlled terminating the boundary of the metasurface with proper additional impedances, whose values are calculated by means of an optimization procedure. The behaviour in terms of magnetic field is then discussed.

Abstract
This paper investigates the possibility of governing the distribution of the currents in a 2D metamaterial realized with magnetically coupled-resonant circuits, with the goal of obtaining a uniform magnetic field in the proximity of the structure. The currents are controlled terminating the boundary of the metasurface with proper additional impedances, whose values are calculated by means of an optimization procedure. The behaviour in terms of magnetic field is then discussed.File in questo prodotto:
