In this article I will focus on the concept of vulnerability in Jean-Luc Nancy’s thought. In the first part I will analyse his deconstruction of the modern subject and how this leads to an idea of bodily and vulnerable singularity. In the second part I will show how vulnerability also plays a central role in Nancy’s reflections about the world and technique. In the last part of the article I will argue that the idea of vulnerability and the in Nancy is always a relational idea and that it needs to be interpreted in an ethical and practical sense

Abstract
In this article I will focus on the concept of vulnerability in Jean-Luc Nancy’s thought. In the first part I will analyse his deconstruction of the modern subject and how this leads to an idea of bodily and vulnerable singularity. In the second part I will show how vulnerability also plays a central role in Nancy’s reflections about the world and technique. In the last part of the article I will argue that the idea of vulnerability and the in Nancy is always a relational idea and that it needs to be interpreted in an ethical and practical senseFile in questo prodotto:
