We collected and digitized the grain yields of the most cultivated legumes across European countries, comprising both published data from papers in international journals, and unpublished information from the experiments of the European projects LegValue and Legato. Records were integrated into an open-source, and easily updatable dataset, named “European Grain Legumes Dataset” (EGLD). Data permit consolidation of the scientific knowledge on environmental and agronomic factors affecting pulses yields in Europe. Additionally, the EU yields potential maps according to current soil and climate conditions can be drawn. Here we provide the dataset, the list of the sources from where the data were retrieved, and the instructions to access the dataset, together with the codes used for the figures.

Abstract
We collected and digitized the grain yields of the most cultivated legumes across European countries, comprising both published data from papers in international journals, and unpublished information from the experiments of the European projects LegValue and Legato. Records were integrated into an open-source, and easily updatable dataset, named “European Grain Legumes Dataset” (EGLD). Data permit consolidation of the scientific knowledge on environmental and agronomic factors affecting pulses yields in Europe. Additionally, the EU yields potential maps according to current soil and climate conditions can be drawn. Here we provide the dataset, the list of the sources from where the data were retrieved, and the instructions to access the dataset, together with the codes used for the figures.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
