The paper focuses on the three-dimensional reconstruction of the parish church of San Genesio, as it looked between the end of the 12th and early 13th centuries. The building was discovered through an archaeological excavation that began in 2001 and was completed in 2018: unfortunately, only the crypt and perimeter walls of the church are preserved. The first and the second part of the paper are focused on the description and interpretation of the archaeological remains of the building and its crypt; the third is dedicated to stone finds and in the fourth the reconstructive process of the church is illustrated. In order to have a basis of comparison data for the dimensions of the architectural components, a measurement campaign of similar and coeval churches was conducted in an attempt to define standard modules to be applied in our reconstruction.

Abstract
The paper focuses on the three-dimensional reconstruction of the parish church of San Genesio, as it looked between the end of the 12th and early 13th centuries. The building was discovered through an archaeological excavation that began in 2001 and was completed in 2018: unfortunately, only the crypt and perimeter walls of the church are preserved. The first and the second part of the paper are focused on the description and interpretation of the archaeological remains of the building and its crypt; the third is dedicated to stone finds and in the fourth the reconstructive process of the church is illustrated. In order to have a basis of comparison data for the dimensions of the architectural components, a measurement campaign of similar and coeval churches was conducted in an attempt to define standard modules to be applied in our reconstruction.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
