These lines trace the movements and relationships between the characters from the beginning to the end of the tragedy, supporting the process of Orestes’ plot of revenge. The references to Athenian religious and legal life contribute to outlining the dramaturgical features of the characters, which are also delineated through the solicitation of the spectators’ ritual skills.
