Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) negatively affects patient outcomes. Surgical tricuspid valve repair/replacement carries a high operative risk and is not a viable option for many high-risk patients. Percutaneous approaches provide an attractive alternative solution for such patients since they represent a valid alternative to open heart surgery without the significant risks carried by surgery. A number of percutaneous devices are currently under clinical development. This review will discuss about the latest development in the field of percutaneous tricuspid valve repair with possible future developments.

Abstract
Tricuspid regurgitation (TR) negatively affects patient outcomes. Surgical tricuspid valve repair/replacement carries a high operative risk and is not a viable option for many high-risk patients. Percutaneous approaches provide an attractive alternative solution for such patients since they represent a valid alternative to open heart surgery without the significant risks carried by surgery. A number of percutaneous devices are currently under clinical development. This review will discuss about the latest development in the field of percutaneous tricuspid valve repair with possible future developments.File in questo prodotto:
