Inspired by the XVI International Conference organised by the “Michel de Montaigne” Cultural Foundation in association with the University of Pisa and under the aegis of the Italian Oscar Wilde Society (“‘The artist is the creator of beautiful things’: Aesthetic Revolutions in Fin-de-Siècle England”, Bagni di Lucca, 9, 10, 11 September 2022), this collection of double-blind peer reviewed articles puts together contributions by national and international scholars variously specialising in the subject (Neil Sammells, Laura Giovannelli, Pierpaolo Martino, Gino Scatasta, Giuseppe Virelli, Camilla Del Grazia, Alessandra Calanchi, Lorenzo Santi, Paola Di Gennaro, Jocelynne A.
