Starting from the analysis of architectural metaphors found in the history of philosophy as an expression of philosophical activity and tasks, this paper aims to analyze the transformations that this activity undergoes in the technological age. To this end, the changes occurring in this era in the notion of “space” and the experience of living in digital environments are analyzed, and two re-semantizations of the concepts of “space” and “environment” are proposed from a philosophical perspective. The question remains as to how to live adequately in the new technological spaces and environments. Philosophy, and particularly ethics, can offer an answer. The final part of the paper provides concrete guidance regarding how to behave toward digital environments, how to live in digital environments, and how to relate each other the various environments with which we interact.
