Since the 1970s, an environmentalist consciousness has developed that has denounced the ecological limits of the planet, ignoring however its deep interconnection with the dimension of justice. The link between environmental and social inequalities will instead be at the center of the struggles for environmental justice, which arises from the suburbs, peripheries and margins of the planet, deeply challenging the supposed neutrality of nature and revealing the intrinsic political dimension of ecology. Starting from these struggles, the aim is to reflect on the connection between ecological degradation, climate crisis, and justice.

Abstract
Since the 1970s, an environmentalist consciousness has developed that has denounced the ecological limits of the planet, ignoring however its deep interconnection with the dimension of justice. The link between environmental and social inequalities will instead be at the center of the struggles for environmental justice, which arises from the suburbs, peripheries and margins of the planet, deeply challenging the supposed neutrality of nature and revealing the intrinsic political dimension of ecology. Starting from these struggles, the aim is to reflect on the connection between ecological degradation, climate crisis, and justice.File in questo prodotto:
