“Confessione ritmica” and other Italo-Romance vernacular texts in the Greek manuscript Ambrosiano B 39 sup. · In this paper, we offer the first complete critical edition of, and commentary on, a group of Old Salentino texts written in the Greek alphabet preserved in the codex Milan, Biblioteca Ambrosiana, B 39 sup., which was copied in the Salentine Peninsula in the second half of the 15th century. The manuscript had previously been studied by Antonino Pagliaro, who firstly discovered its Greek-Romance rhythmic confession (judging it to be a Calabrian text), and by Rocco Distilo. In addition to this newly updated edition, the essay provides for the first time a detailed commentary on all the texts and glosses as well as a vernacular recipe, written both in Latin and Greek characters, whose presence in the codex had not been noted in previous studies.
Si offre in questa sede la prima edizione integrale critica e commentata dei testi volgari in alfabeto greco del codice Ambrosiano B 39 sup., copiato in Terra d’Otranto dopo la metà del xv secolo. Il manoscritto era stato studiato in precedenza da Antonino Pagliaro, che per primo vi individuò la Confessione ritmica greco-romanza (giudicandola un testo calabrese), e da Rocco Distilo. Oltre a fornire per la prima volta un commento puntuale a tutti i testi e alle glosse, si pubblica qui anche un’inedita ricetta medica biografica in volgare, la cui presenza nel codice non era stata rilevata dagli studi precedenti.
