This letter deals with adaptive radar detection of targets embedded in Gaussian clutter plus range-distributed subspace-structured jamming by exploiting the invariance theory. The class of invariant detectors which ensure the constant false alarm rate property has been characterized by designing the maximal invariant statistic for the studied detection problem. The achievement of this letter is the coincidence of the obtained maximal invariant with that derived assuming range-concentrated jamming.

Abstract
This letter deals with adaptive radar detection of targets embedded in Gaussian clutter plus range-distributed subspace-structured jamming by exploiting the invariance theory. The class of invariant detectors which ensure the constant false alarm rate property has been characterized by designing the maximal invariant statistic for the studied detection problem. The achievement of this letter is the coincidence of the obtained maximal invariant with that derived assuming range-concentrated jamming.File in questo prodotto:
