This paper aims to showcase the 3D survey and modelling activity within the M.I.D.A.N.05 mission directed by Marilina Betrò in the Theban necropolis of Dra Abu el-Naga. The results illustrated here constitute a multi-scale, representative selection of what has been achieved over almost ten years of collaboration. The purpose is also to highlight the informative potential these techniques can offer at every stage of archaeological research, from fieldwork to outreach to non-specialist audiences.
