Abstract
Friedrich Julius Stahl succeeded Eduard Gans as Chair at the University of Berlin. Due to Stahl’s proximity to Schelling and Savigny, this was interpreted as a clear signal of the end of Hegel’s cultural influence in Prussia. Our essay casts doubt on whether Stahl’s Philosophy of Law might be seen as an historical Positivism, like Savigny’s; or if its ties to Natural Law and Lutheranism bring it closer to some Hegelian themes.File in questo prodotto:
