The term co-regulation has a plurality of implications in our legal system and that of the EU. The objective of this contribution is to identify how the participation of citizens, civil society organizations, and stakeholders can contribute to shaping European policies and internal regulatory activities. Such participation can be facilitated by the presence of new technologies, which must, however, be accessible and understood in their opportunities by all citizens.
