Abstract
Although he is known to be a philosopher particularly attentive to the lexical dimension, Condorcet left no specific writing to clarify his idea of the people. Following in the footsteps of contributions that have worked this terrain in recent years, this article examines three texts, all edited in the Revolutionary era. The research brings to light quite a few oscillations and sudden changes of register regarding the two terms that most guided Condorcet’s political reflection: people and citizens.File in questo prodotto:
