In this paper the artificial lighting of a pedestrian-mechanic route from a new large peripheral car parking area to the hill of Poggio alle Croci (Volterra, Tuscany – Italy) has been studied. In particular, the main visual comfort parameters have been analyzed also with respect to the European and Italian technical standards on the outdoor lighting.
