Introduction and aim of the work: Zeolites are minerals with peculiar chemical and physical properties. The aim of this work was to evaluate the effect of Clinoptilolite on canine health, digestibility and faeces quality. Materials and method: this study was divided in two steps using two homogeneous dog’s groups, firstly introducing Clinoptilolite at 2,5 and 5% in commercial food, then feeding clinptilolite to dogs as snack once a day. Results and discussion: Clinoptilolite both as additive at 5% in commercial food and fed as snack once a day shows a significant improvement of faeces quality without reducing food digestibility or affect dog’s health.
