This chapter aims to explore the relationship between territorial inequalities, infrastructures and protest by focusing on large-scale infrastructures as an instrument of territorial governance. On the one hand, I will try to show how large-scale infrastructures seek to legitimise themselves as solutions to inequalities, while at the same time producing new asymmetries and inequalities. On the other hand, I will try to show how territorial mobilisations against large-scale construction represent a chapter in the struggles for justice and against socio-environmental inequalities.

Abstract
This chapter aims to explore the relationship between territorial inequalities, infrastructures and protest by focusing on large-scale infrastructures as an instrument of territorial governance. On the one hand, I will try to show how large-scale infrastructures seek to legitimise themselves as solutions to inequalities, while at the same time producing new asymmetries and inequalities. On the other hand, I will try to show how territorial mobilisations against large-scale construction represent a chapter in the struggles for justice and against socio-environmental inequalities.File in questo prodotto:
