This article aims to present some reflections on the linguistic productions of Italian-speaking speakers who acquire Portuguese as an Additional Language (PLA) in instances classified as Portuguese as a Heritage Language (PLH) and Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE). From a cognitive-functional perspective (Bybee, 2016; Croft, 2001; Goldberg, 1995, 2006), following the model of Diasystemic Constructional Grammar (Höder, 2014, 2018), the study seeks to offer contributions regarding the understanding of linguistic manifestations in multilingual environments (Portuguese and Italian). Qualitative and interpretative, the study presents and describes data from the oral productions of PLH speakers aged between 5 and 13, and data from the written productions of young learners of PLE, undergraduate students in the 1st year of the Portuguese Lectorate of the Language and Translation program at the University of Pisa. The data show characteristics of the diasystem and the multilingual construct, as well as revealing particularities of diaconstructions as non-specific instances of the acquisition process, confirming competencies in the use of the different languages in the repertoire of these speakers.

Abstract
The data show characteristics of the diasystem and the multilingual construct, as well as revealing particularities of diaconstructions as non-specific instances of the acquisition process, confirming competencies in the use of the different languages in the repertoire of these speakers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
