The discovery of an unpublished "Vita beati Terentii episcopi" in a 14th-century MS. at Yale’s Beinecke Library sheds new light on the historical image, cult, and hagiographic topoi of St Terentius of Luni. The collaboration of three scholars, with specific historical-documentary, hagiographic, and philological expertise, has produced the study and critical edition of this Vita presented here.
