Abstract
Authors present previously unpublished results of archaeological surveys carried out by the late Prof. Tiziano Mannoni between 1970 and 1980 in the territory of the Municipality of Casola in Lunigiana (MS). The research has brought to light traces of long-term prehistoric settlement in a mountain territory of north-western Tuscany that was substantially unexplored. These surveys have yielded over 500 chipped lithic artefacts (cherts and radiolarite), as well as very rare elements in silicified limestone, quartzite and quartz. Various localities can be attributed to Paleolithic, Mesolithic and Holocene frequentationsFile in questo prodotto:
