Abstract
In this work, hazelnut shell (HS) biomass has been employed as the precursor for the synthesis of many new activated carbons. After evaluating their electrochemical properties through cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge measurements, a post-modification procedure was proposed for the best-performing activated carbons, utilizing CuO to enhance their final performances. This work highlights the real possibility of using the obtained chars for the production of supercapacitors electrodes, promoting an eco-friendly waste biomass valorization, aimed at improving the circular economy.File in questo prodotto:
