This paper focuses on identifying some potential strategies to hinder and prevent the dynamics of marginalization resulting from the educational poverty among minors. A particular reference will be given to the post-pandemic context, based on the results of a mixed-methods research conducted in 2023 in the territories of the Tuscany region. The discussion specially aims at emphasizing the importance of networking in the development of welfare policies, to enhance projects and interventions against this kind of social vulnerability. The article, which is mainly methodological, analyses the different forms of social support towards the young generations who are experiencing a situation of educational fragility and de-culturalisation, within a community welfare framework mirroring the heterogeneity and peculiarities of local contexts. Our reflection is based on the awareness of how, in recent years, the issue of the educational poverty has been one of the central assets of many European Union Countries. This is also in light of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals contained in the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda, which is characterized by its integrated vision both of the multiple dimensions of development and the actors having this social responsibility.
Il presente contributo si focalizza sull’emersione di alcune possibili strategie di contrasto e prevenzione alla marginalità derivata dalla povertà educativa in ambito minorile – con particolare riferimento al contesto post pandemico e alla luce dei risultati di un’indagine di tipo mixed-methods condotta nel 2023 nei territori della Toscana. Nello specifico, l’accento è posto sulla dimensione di rete nello sviluppo di politiche di welfare a sostegno di questa forma di vulnerabilità sociale. L’intero lavoro, dal carattere prevalentemente metodologico, ruota infatti attorno all’analisi di modalità di presa in carico rispetto a coloro che si collocano in una situazione di fragilità educativa e di de-culturalizzazione, in un quadro di welfare di comunità che rispecchi l’eterogeneità e le peculiarità dei contesti locali, e nella consapevolezza di quanto negli anni più recenti tale questione abbia rappresentato uno degli asset centrali di molti Paesi dell’Unione Europea. Ciò, anche alla luce dei 17 Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile contenuti nell’Agenda 2030 delle Nazioni Unite, che si caratterizza proprio per la visione integrata delle varie dimensioni dello sviluppo e degli attori chiamati a occuparsene.
