In this contribution, the catalogue of the plants cultivated in the Botanic Garden in the 1960s/1970s is presented. It consists of 730 records, that include, after a nomenclatural revision, a total of 457 species, 25 subspecies/varieties/forms, 26 cultivars and 7 hybrids. These taxa belong to 320 genera and 99 families. About half of the taxa are still cultivated in the Botanical Garden today, while only 26% of the specimens are still alive. This unpublished inventory adds further knowledge about the past collections of the Botanical Garden of the University of Pisa.
