In this brief article we present a first edition of an enigmatic fragment preserved in the antiquities collection of Neşet Akel in Kâhta. The edition of the fragment is preceded by a brief history of the intense research programme conducted in Commagene by Friedrich Karl Dörner and his successors, among whom the honorand of the volume Engelbert Winter stands out for the remarkable energy and commitment which he has dedicated to the region and its cultural heritage.
