Etica, politica e razionalità scientifica. Una replica

This reply engages with five critical responses to Etica e politica nell’epoca del pop, clarifying the book’s central concerns: the need to defend the anthropological concept of culture, to understand contemporary political sensibilities ethnographically, and to resist both apocalyptic anti-modernism and reductive theories of power. The essay discusses the importance of studying right-wing voters from within, the media case of the “family in the woods”, digital folklore, disaster narratives and pop apocalyptic imaginaries. It also reflects on situated knowledge, identity politics and the risks of subordinating anthropology to militant positionality, arguing for a renewed balance between scientific rationality, ethical commitment and political understanding.
