Education plays a fundamental role in individual development and social participation, making it essential to design effective methodologies and tools to support learning. This is particularly critical in the context of inclusive education, where the focus has moved from integration to inclusion, with the aim of enhancing learning opportunities for all. In this context, information and communication technologies (ICT) play a key role, not only for overcoming barriers but also for enriching learning experiences and improving accessibility for a broader range of learners. The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (AI) can provide new opportunities for content adaptation, multimodal interaction, and personalised learning, but also raises very serious challenges related to responsible and ethical use. This Special Thematic Session includes 12 papers, 10 of which are published in this volume, covering a wide range of topics, technologies, and educational contexts. The contributions reflect the diversity and evolution of the field, highlighting how inclusive education is a dynamic and multi-dimensional process.

Abstract
The contributions reflect the diversity and evolution of the field, highlighting how inclusive education is a dynamic and multi-dimensional process.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
