The NaGd(WO(4))(2) (NGW) and NaBi(WO(4))(2) (NBW) single crystals were grown by the Czochralski method. These crystals were characterized by thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. TG-DTA curves indicate that melting point of the NGW and NBW crystals are 1252.8 degrees C and 937.7 degrees C, respectively. The XRD analysis show that these crystals all are belong in a tetragonal system, scheelite-type structure and space group I4(1)/a. Lattice parameters of NBW crystal are larger than that of NGW crystals. The infrared (IR) spectra and Raman spectra of these crystals were measured, and vibration frequencies of IR and Raman active modes for these crystals were assigned. By comparing the IR spectra to Raman spectra of these crystals, it is found that the structures of these two crystals are basically identical.

Abstract
By comparing the IR spectra to Raman spectra of these crystals, it is found that the structures of these two crystals are basically identical.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
