It is with interest we read the article by Gürdal and coworkers entitled “Periorbital necrotizing fasciitis caused by community-associated methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)”(Gürdalet al., 2010). We congratulate the Authors for the complete case report. We would take the opportunity to discuss some more key-points in the diagnosis and management on this rare disease and point out the presence of another case of MRSA periorbital NF in the literature
