This paper casts a glance in two different and complementary directions. On the one hand, it deals with the contribution provided by the LISTA laboratory in the refinement of the operational techniques of configurational analysis, developing those already existing and largely experimented and applied all over the world, in order to overcome their respective faults and limits. On the other hand, it high- lights the several concrete applications of the configurational approach in territorial planning: aimed at inspecting, demonstrating and discussing their actual utility as a knowledge and support tool for decision making.

Abstract
This paper casts a glance in two different and complementary directions. On the one hand, it deals with the contribution provided by the LISTA laboratory in the refinement of the operational techniques of configurational analysis, developing those already existing and largely experimented and applied all over the world, in order to overcome their respective faults and limits. On the other hand, it high- lights the several concrete applications of the configurational approach in territorial planning: aimed at inspecting, demonstrating and discussing their actual utility as a knowledge and support tool for decision making.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
