In Spring 2011, Pots&Play convened for the first time. This itinerant seminar, named after Oliver Taplin's pivotal essay in 2007, has collaboratively outlined initial research in response to Taplin’s work, continuing his ongoing relationship with the Centro studi ClassicA and La Rivista di Engramma. The seminar proudly presents these initial notes as the outcome of a continuous exchange of materials and ideas among the scholars involved in this research. Consider these notes as the embryonic proposal for a methodological essay to be published later this year, intending to initiate a discussion for anyone interested in the relationship between Attic theatre and vase-painting iconography.

Abstract
In Spring 2011, Pots&Play convened for the first time. This itinerant seminar, named after Oliver Taplin's pivotal essay in 2007, has collaboratively outlined initial research in response to Taplin’s work, continuing his ongoing relationship with the Centro studi ClassicA and La Rivista di Engramma. The seminar proudly presents these initial notes as the outcome of a continuous exchange of materials and ideas among the scholars involved in this research. Consider these notes as the embryonic proposal for a methodological essay to be published later this year, intending to initiate a discussion for anyone interested in the relationship between Attic theatre and vase-painting iconography.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
