In some markets, companies have long been metabolized the importance of the internationalization strategy for the growth, the value creation but also to stem competition of the Far East. This proposal wants to explain the first reflections of a larger study that we are conducting about the relation between strategies, as value drivers, and the importance of financial support. The purpose of this work is to investigate the strategic role of private equity institution in Italian firms in the internationalization strategies and their economic and social effects. The PE backed companies showed higher performances and highest growth rates than comparables and the export increased by 15%.
